Commitment to Online Security
Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. Billing and contribution information is encrypted whenever transmitted or received online. Personal information is accessible only by staff designated to handle online requests, complaints and contributions. All CDCA employees with access to personal information obtained on the CDCA web site are also bound to adhere to this policy.

Personal Information Collected
CDCA collects the following types of personal information: names, postal and email addresses, home, work and alternate phone numbers, billing and contribution information, employment status and employer contact information and child care preferences. We also collect and use information on children such as age, special needs and other medical information, school attendance, foster care information, eligibility for financial assistance. Child information is only used to direct the search for child care and to collect statistical data concerning the demand for child care regionally. Statistical data is aggregated collectively and never associated with a particular family.

CDCA does not collect or maintain information from those actually known to be under the age of 13, and no part of our site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13. All employees of CDCA are required to complete a Family Care Safety Registry and Screening as a condition of employment. Use of Personal Information
CDCA will not use your personal information other than for the purpose for which it was submitted without your consent. We use personal information to reply to inquiries, handle complaints, provide operational notices, solicit donations and in program record keeping. We also process business and billing requests related to program participation.
